  • Zelda: Twilight Princess 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico

Hey! This is the info page for the Twilight Princess 4K texture pack project! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) In its current state, the texture pack includes over 1.8K custom 4K textures, remade from the ground up. They cover most areas of the game, but some locations such as some specific interiors or dungeons are not yet fully covered. This project is 100% fan-made and non-commercial. Although, please refrain from distributing it outside of this website if possible and link to this page instead. Thanks! The end goal is to remake every single texture from scratch. Right now we're about 80% there, but there's still more to go. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit! The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution (some textures are as large as 4096x4096). The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution (4096x4096 textures become 2048x2048 etc.) My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying faithful to the original vision. That means my textures are meant to blend in as much as possible with the old textures style so the game feel doesn't change, whilst still retaining an extremely high quality with lots of detail. This texture pack is for TP on the GameCube and Wii only (right now). Most of Links textures, including the Master Sword and Hylian shield, have been graciously hand painted and contributed by artist Skilar Babcock . Please check out their stuff here and give them a follow! This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of ZTP as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in that case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). Ishiiruka-Dolphin is required for material maps, custom shaders and other nice visual features to work and is recommended. There is a custom fork of Ishiiruka Dolphin inside the texture pack download which you can use, or alternatively download the latest version of Ishiiruka-Dolphin (version 1142 ). So far only Global, NTCS and PAL textures have been modified . You can still use this texture pack on Japanense / Korean versions of the game, it will still work. This will not include all the Jap/Kor region specific textures though. Please note that all post processing can be modified easily from user to user to fit your own preference, you can make it look however you like from the "Post-Processing" tab in the Graphics Settings (if you're using the Post-Processing Edition of Dolphin / Ishiiruka Dolphin). If you are having issues with stuttering and lag, remember to check "Prefetch Custom Textures" in the 'Advanced' tab of the Graphics settings before asking for help. The first thing I always recommend is that you try reducing internal resolution somewhat, as well as reduce or disable anti aliasing altogether in the Dolphin Graphics Settings. Higher resolutions are very resource intensive in Dolphin, so please keep that in mind. I also recommend enabling V-Sync as it removes screen tearing in full screen mode. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Video preview (Please watch in 2160p for the best experience!) 1/20 1/9 What are the differences between the post-processing and standard editions of the texture pack ? Short answer: The post processing edition has some extra graphics options which results in more realistic post processing, lighting and effects, as well as fully customizable tone mapping. However, it has low er compatibility with different types of hardware, is missing some features of modern Dolphin, and performance is generally a fair bit worse than the standard edition. Here are some comparison screenshots: Setup & Usage: If you're on Windows: There is minimal setup necessary! A special preconfigured version of Dolphin called Ishiiruka Dolphin is provided alongside the texture pack. Simply extract the folder somewhere and start Dolphin using "Dolphin (Standard Edition).exe " or "Dolphin (Post-Processing Edition).exe ", then open up your own obtained GC/Wii game rom of ZTP and play. It is crucially important that you do NOT move the .exe from the folder it's inside of, or else it won't work! >>Note: On the post-processing edition (Ishiiruka Dolphin), do NOT use any graphics backend other than Direct3D 11 in the graphics settings, It is the only backend which supports all features and has the highest compatibility and stability of all the options. Also keep in mind that the Post Processing Edition does not support .RVZ, .CISO or .NKIT format roms, only .ISO. If you're on Mac or Linux: please manually download Dolphin from this page for your operating system and copy all of the contents of the texture pack's "user" folder (not the folder itself, but everything inside it) to your Dolphin directory (on macOS, your Dolphin Directory is inside of ~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin ) . Ne xt m ake sure to enable " Use Custom Textures" in the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab, or else the custom textures won't load! And finally, you also need the game rom to start the game, which isn't included for legal reasons. Information on how to dump your own game rom legally can be found here. For SteamDeck users the in stallation is a bit different. First you must download Dolphin , this can easily be done through the use of a program like Emudeck or through Flatpak . If you installed Dolphin through Emudeck, your Dolphin directory will be located inside of /home/deck/.var/app/org.DolphinEmu.dolphin-emu/data/dolphin-emu/Load . You must right click inside the Dolph in directory > Menu > Check the box for "Show Hidden Files" or else you may not be able to access the Dolphin f older. The rest of the i nstallation is the same as for Linux/MacOS, which you can find abov e. Just copy the "GZ2" folder from the texture pack folder > "User" > "Load" folder into your dolphin-emu directory and enable custom textures in the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab and that should do the trick! For Android users, the process is also a bit different. First download the latest Dolphin Emulator from the Google Play Store , or download the latest "Development Version" APK directly from here , install it on your device and try running your game rom in it to make sure everything is working before installing the texture pack itself. Next, download the 1080p version of the texture pack on your device (the 4K version might not work on some android devices) and extract it using any .zip unarchival app (some android versions have this feature built in, whilst some require a third party app to unzip .zip files). Next, you need to make sure you can access the "data" directory on your android device. In recent versions of Android, this path is no longer accessible by the built in file browser so you'll need to use a third party file browser to access the dolphin directory: See this guide here! Once that is done, open the texture pack folder and navigate to the user > load > textures folder. Next, copy the folder called " GZ2 " to this location on your device using your third party file browser OR by using a PC to access the directory (easier); Internal Storage/Android/data/dolphin-emu/load/textures (Replacing the existing GZ2 folder if its already there) Now finally, enable the "Load Custom Textures" option inside the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab. Then set the "Internal Resolution " in the Graphics Settings to a higher value than the default 1x (start with 2x and increase from there, if it starts to lag lower the internal resolution again ). Then start the game. It should say a disclaimer about the texture pack before the game starts, that's how you know it's working. Enjoy! For iOS users, the process is very similar to that of Android. However install Dolphin is a bit trickier and will require that you use DolphiniOS , which has it's own installation instructions provided here . NO GAME ROM OR GAME FILES ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS TEXTURE PACK. SHARING GAME ROMS IS PIRACY AND IS ILLEGAL. DO NOT ASK FOR THEM HERE OR ON DISCORD, OR YOU WILL BE MUTED. How do I get the game rom? No game files are distributed with this texture pack, since that would be illegal. You need to get the game .iso yourself. The legal way is to dump the game yourself from your own GameCube or Wii console. See these instructions! What are the differences between the "Standard Edition" and the "Post Processing Edition"? There are two versions of the Dolphin emulator bundled with the pack you can use which comes with the texture pack pre-configured and ready to go . One is the "Post Processing Edition ", which includes all the post processing effects showcased in the trailer like ambient occlusion, tone mapping, bloom, material maps and more. The other version is the "Standard Edition " which doesn't include these features but has some other benefits instead. You are not forced to use either of these versions if you don't want to, and the texture pack can easily be installed on any version of Dolphin you've installed yourself as well (see the Linux & MacOS instructions for a manual installation). The Post Processing Edition utilizes Ishiiruka Dolphin to achieve these features, and has some graphical features implemented not available in regular Dolphin at all. It is only compatible with Windows ( not compatible with MacOS or Linux ) and a dedicated graphics card . Both editions include controller presets for common gamepads like the Xbox One controller, and the custom textures are the same between both versions. The standard edition version fixes some Dolphin bugs present in Ishiiruka Dolphin (and offers increased stability, and substantially higher performance) and supports MacOS & Linux , too! But does not support any of the additional graphical features listed above , like material maps or ambient occlusion. Both versions look stunning so if you're uncertain I recommend you play the standard version - or try out both and see which one you prefer! The screenshots above are taken using the post-processing edition. Both versions share the same save data so you can switch freely between the two and compare at any time. How do I set up 60 FPS? It is possible to display at 60 fps or higher using Lossless Scaling , a tool which can be bought from Steam (I'm not sponsored by them, but I like the tool). The tool is still in beta however, and upscaling artifacts will appear to some degree. For a perfectly clean image without artifacts, I still recommend playing the game at the default frame rate without Lossless Scaling. It can interpolate frames in-game to give the appearance of 60 fps or higher, without any of the drawbacks of a cheat code or patch: There will be NO game breaking bugs or glitches using lossless scaling, as it's only active a post processing effect. But as stated earlier, there will be artifacts which may or may not hinder your enjoyment of the game, depending on how sensitive you are to artifacts. Here is some important information about using Lossless Scaling to get higher FPS: * Artifacts may appear when there is lots of sudden camera movements on screen. * The tool costs $6.99 on Steam (a price worth paying in my opinion, since it works for any game) * It is only available on Windows , and does not work on Linux or MacOS currently. * A somewhat modern GPU is required , preferably an RTX or recent AMD GPU. Whether or not it's worth getting is for you to decide! Of course, playing the game in it's intended frame rate is a perfectly good experience as well, so don't feel forced to use this tool to have a good time. These are my recommended settings for Lossless Scaling for Dolphin: NOTICE: YOU MUST ENABLE "BORDERLESS FULLSCREEN" IN THE GRAPHICS SETTINGS > ADVANCED TAB OR IT WON'T WORK! Why is the image grainy? This can be an issue in the post processing edition on some hardware configurations if Ubershaders it NOT set to "Exclusive". Try setting Ubershaders to "Exclusive " in the Enhancements tab of the Graphics Settings and that should fix the problem. W hy do textures take a while before loading in? This occurs in the standard edition (regular Dolphin) when "Prefetch Custom Textures" is not enabled. You can enable "Prefetch Custom Textures" in the Graphics Settings > Advanced tab and this will fix the problem (this requires a lot of RAM!) Why is the game crashing / free zing on startup or after a few hours? The most likely reason is because you have "Prefetch Custom Textures" enabled in the Post-Processing Edition (Ishiiruka Dolphin) in the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab . This feature is known to be unstable at times in Ishiiruka Dolphin (regular Dolphin 5.x doesn't have this issue) and can cause issues like freezes and crashes. Try disabling this feature if it's enabled and see if this fixes the problem. Why is the game crashing on the mission where you need to escort the Zora prince from one part of the map to another? The reason why is because of a bug in the widescreen patch. THE INTRO CUTSCENE TO THIS MISSION WILL SOFTLOCK / CRASH THE GAME EVERY TIME WITH THIS PATCH ENABLED . There is no fix for this currently other than to use a clean game rom for this mission which does NOT have this widescreen patch applied! Why is the game crashing / displaying "IntCPU: Unknown instruction"? The reason why is most likely because you are using an unsupported game rom format , such as .NKIT.iso, .WBFS or .RVZ. The only fully supported game rom form at for the post-processing edition version of Dolphin (Ishiiruka Dolphin) is .ISO . Using an unsupported format may lead to unexpected behaviour and crashes, such as a "IntCPU: Unknown instruction" error. Why is the game crashing / dis playing "Fifo Error: Shutting Down"? The reason why is most likely because you don't have the latest C++ Redist from Microsoft installed . This is required on most Windows setups or else the game won't boot. You can download it for free from Microsoft's website here. If it's still crashing after you've installed C++ Redist, it might be because you're using an WBFS, WFS or .NKIT ISO. You need a regular ISO version to play the game without any errors- NKIT is NOT supported. You can convert your NKIT to a regular ISO easily using the free NKIT to ISO converter. If it's none of these things, then it's probably because an incompatible cheat code is being used. Try disabling "cheats" in the Dolphin Config Settings and see if that fixes the problem! Why am I getting a "Failed to enumerate outputs!" error / why are my item icons messed up? This error appears when your graphics card is not able to be initialized for use in Dolphin, which can result in several issues (including crashing, random texture corruption and other graphical features not working as intended ). It is therefore highly recommended that you perform the following actions to fix the error before playing the game. Fixing it is a simple two-step process: 1. Select "Use Maximum performance" as the power management mode for ZTP4K.exe (the dolphin launch program inside of the corresponding texture pack folder) in the NVIDIA Control Panel program on your PC. Go into the nvidia control panel > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings tab > click "Add" and find the ZTP4K.exe file in the texture pack directory you use to play the texture pack. Then set the mode for power management in the list to "Prefer maximum performance" 2. On Windows 10 and newer, you must set the graphics mode for the exe in the Windows settings as well. Go to System > Display options > Graphics settings in the Windows settings and click the "Browse " button under the Desktop App list button and then select the correct texture pack ZTP4K.exe just like in the NVIDIA Control Panel. It should get added to the list of apps in the same menu. Now, click it in the list and then "Options " > Select the "High Performance " in the menu that appears. Done! Restart the emulator and the error should now be gone. Why is everything offset to the side or UI elements are displaying strangely? This is because you have more than one widescreen cheat / patch active at the same time. If you used the included widescreen patcher tool and widescreen patch, then you must also disable the default widescreen cheat in the game properties . To get to the game properties, first make sure that you have added the folder where your game rom is as a path in the Dolphin Config Settings > Paths tab. Then right click the game in the games list in Dolphin > Properties > AR Codes / Gecko Codes tabs. Then uncheck any active widescreen cheats there. Restart the game (do not load a save state, you must load a save normally in-game) and that should fix it! I want to use a regular controller for the Wii version, what are the controls for that? You can play the Wii version using a regular controller if you wish, however since the Wii version was designed with motion controls in mind, some actions are not as intuitive as one might wis h on the Wii version in particular. Some information about the controls worth explaining: You can control the pointer by holding down the Right Bumper and using the Right Stick to aim. To fish in the Wii version using a regular controller, throw the reel into the water. Then when you think you've got a fish on the hook, you need to hold both Right Trigger and Left Stick Up to catch it. To aim weapons or other items with a controller on the Wii version, such as with your slingshot or a hawk, hold the R button on your controller and use the Left Stick to aim. To do a spin attack on the WIi version using a regular controller, hold Right Trigger, then rotate Right Stick in a circle. You don't need to do it quickly, as spinning the stick too quickly in a circle might not register properly. I would like to merge all the packs into one single Dolphin, can I do that somehow? Yes, for all Dolphin packs you can just copy the Load and GameSettings folders from each User folder into one single user folder and that should work (if it asks you if you want to overwrite anything, say "yes"). Updating from an older version is su per simple: Just copy & paste the " GC " and " Wii " folders inside the " User " folder in the texture pack directory over to the new version's User folder and it should work straight away! This will transfer all your saves files over, which are cross compatible between updates. If you encounter any issues with the texture pack please post them on the Forums or on Discord ! Enjoy! Want to help contribute to these projects? If so, thank you! Myself and lots of people would greatly appreciate your help making these projects shine even brighter. All contributed work will of course be credited, however not all submited textures might be included in the texture pack if they're not deemed a suitable fit for any reason. The most important thing is that textures are faithful to the original art style, and that they contain no copyrighted or otherwise illegal content before being distributed. Here are some specific core areas which are currently especially important in regards to contributed work; UI and text translations (Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese) UI icons and character portraits Minor texture tweaks (mistake fixes or spelling corrections, for example) High-quality, royalty free environment textures or material textures (PBR or otherwise) without watermarks. Changelog: 3.0 (2026-01-01): Over 530 new 4K textures have been added in this update, making it the biggest single expansion of coverage so far. This is not an incremental update, but a complete overhaul in some aspects, which you will notice if you compare it to 2.1. Several areas have received extensive texture updates, and many regions that previously had partial coverage have now been improved to feel more cohesive and complete. The new textures cover (but are not limited to) the following areas: Forest Temple (Completely overhauled) Hyrule Field (multiple regions) Ordon Village Ordon Ranch Ordon Spring Faron Woods Sacred Grove Castle Town and surrounding areas Kakariko Village & Graveyard Zora River Lake Hylia Gerudo Desert Telma's Bar Hyrule Castle Town Hyrule Castle Hyrule Castle Sewers Several additional dungeons and sub-areas Unlike some earlier updates, this version doesn’t focus on just a few specific locations — most areas of the game have been revisited in some way. The Ordona region, the Forest Temple, and large portions of Hyrule Field have seen especially significant improvements in this update. Visual effects such as falling leaves, butterflies or the twilight "walls" in Hyrule Field have also been updated and now look substantially higher quality than before. Completely reworked UI! Version 3.0 includes a fully reworked user interface, with most UI elements recreated at higher resolutions. Improved clarity and readability More consistent presentation across menus, HUD elements and icons Better scaling at higher resolutions Visual adjustments intended to stay faithful to the original design whilst still being high fidelity. The updated UI is intended to better match the overall quality level of the texture pack and provide a more comfortable experience when playing at modern resolutions without artifacts or pixelation. Improved character textures! Character textures have received a broad quality pass in this update. Many key characters, NPCs and enemies have been revisited to: Improve overall texture quality Increase quality consistency Better align with the original game’s visual style The intent here is refinement rather than redesign, focusing on subtle improvements that help the textures blend more naturally with the rest of the game. New and improved post-processing shaders! Version 3.0 introduces updated and refined post-processing shaders with several notable improvements; Improved color balance and tone mapping Subtle contrast and lighting adjustments, including fixes for overly aggressive bloom. A more consistent visual presentation across different areas Increased consistency and overall quality improvements! A large portion of the work in this update has gone into revisiting older textures to improve consistency across the pack. Older HD textures have been cleaned up or adjusted Reduced visual inconsistencies between neighboring areas More cohesive presentation throughout the game The goal is to enhance visual clarity and consistency while respecting the original game’s art direction. Fixes, tweaks and other improvements! In addition to new textures, version 3.0 includes: Numerous texture fixes and UV alignment fixes Small visual tweaks across many areas General cleanup and polish throughout the pack These changes help improve overall quality and presentation, even if they’re not always immediately noticeable and only become apparent if you focus on the details. 2.1 (2025-01-01): 150+ new textures Over 150 new environment textures have been remade in many areas of the game. • Pikmin 2 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico

Hello! This is the info page for my Pikmin 2 4K texture pack project! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) There are ~3000 unique textures in total in the game. Out of these textures several hundred have been completely re-textured. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution , this means that (if internal resolution is increased in Dolphin) you may be able to view some textures at a staggering 6832x3480 resolution! The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution, which results to slightly above 1080p (it still looks really good!). The 4K version will still look better than the 1080p version , even if you're not using a 4K display. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying faithful to the original vision. That means my textures are meant to blend in as much as possible with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change. Pikmin 2 naturally uses a pretty realistic art style for lots of it's environments so many real-life photos have been used to create the new textures. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of Pikmin 2 as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in which case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). Ishiiruka-Dolphin is required to make material maps, shaders and other nice visual features work and is highly recommended. There is a pre-configured version of Ishiiruka Dolphin inside the texture pack download which you can use, or alternatively download the latest version of Ishiiruka-Dolphin . There are two versions of the texture pack included in the download- the Post Processing Edition and the Standard Edition . The Post Processing edition has further improved graphical features and can look better, but the Standard Edition has improved stability and compatibility with different kinds of hardware. If you are unsure which one to use, use the Standard Edition ! There is a 60 FPS patch included by default and can be toggled on/off by pressing Left/Right on the D-Pad. NOTE: Some cutscenes crash the game when using the 60 FPS patch. Therefore, temporarily use 30 FPS before any important story cutscenes to avoid unnecessary crashes and lost progress. Currently, only NTCS textures have been modified . You can still use this texture pack on European / Japanense / Korean versions of the game in Dolphin, it will still work. This will not include the PAL/Jap/Kor region specific textures though. If you are having issues with stuttering and lag, remember to check "Prefetch Custom Textures" in the 'Advanced' tab of the Graphics settings before asking for help (enabled by default). I also recommend enabling V-Sync as it removes screen tearing in full screen mode. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Why would I play with this over the original GameCube / Wii version? There are many reasons why you would want to play the game with a HD texture pack over playing it on a real GameCube / Wii. Here are some I've listed out the top of my head; Better visuals (High resolution textures, material maps, rim lighting, depth of field, ambient occlusion, global illumination, tonemapping, post processing shaders and even ray tracing!) You can play it on your PC (duh! ) iOS & Android Support Higher compatibility with various systems Supports mods and modding tools natively Free Cam Supports a plethora of cheats and patches Stereoscopic 3D support VR Potential Supports emulated Wii-controls (You can play the game using a normal controller, no need for a Wiimote & Nunchuck unless you want to! Although they are still recommended for the optimal Pikmin 2 experience.) Video preview (Please watch in 1440p, 60 FPS for the best experience!) Setup: If you're on Windows: There is minimal installation! A special preconfigured version of Dolphin called Ishiiruka Dolphin is provided alongside the texture pack. Simply extract the folder somewhere and start Dolphin using "Pikmin 2 4K (Edition Version) .exe", then open up your own game rom of Pikmin 2 (either GameCube or Wii version) and play! For SteamDeck users the installation is a bit different. First you must download Dolphin, this can easily be done through the use of a program like Emudeck or through Flatpak . If yo u installed Dolphin through Emudeck, your Dolphin directory will be located inside of /home/deck/.var/app/org.DolphinEmu.dolphin-emu/data/dolphin-emu/ . You must right click inside the Dolphin directory > Menu > Check the box for "Show Hidden Files" or else you may not be able to access the Dolphin folder. The rest of the i nstallation is the same as for Linux/MacOS, which you can find above. Once that is done, open the texture pack folder and navigate to the user > load > textures folder. Next, copy the folder called " GPV " to this location on your device; Internal Storage/dolphin-emu/load/textures Now finally, enable the "Load Custom Textures" option inside the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab. Gorgeous Mr. President icon render generously contributed by Pavlovs-Walrus ! If you encounter any issues with the texture pack please post them on the Forums or on Discord ! Enjoy! Download (v1.5.0a)

  • Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico

Hello! This is the info page for my OoT3D 4K texture pack project! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) So far, several hundred of the most important textures have been completely re-textured from scratch! The end goal is to remake every single texture from scratch. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the base resolution, which is suitable for 4K displays. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the base resolution, which is best for 1080p displays. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying faithful to the original vision. That means my textures are meant to blend in as much as possible with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change. This texture pack is for Oot3D, which means the 3DS version only . There are no plans to port it to the N64 version currently for several reasons (see F.A.Q). The texture pack, as distributed, is provided *as is*. There is no emulator included with the texture pack . The appearance of several locations has been changed to better match the tone of the N64 version. This includes locations such as the Bottom of the Well, where the blood has been restored from the N64 version as well as the final battle, which is now much darker like in the original. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of OoT3D as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in which case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). It will work with the OoT3D Randomizer, for example It works with the Free Camera Control mod , which lets you control the camera in full 360 degrees freely just like in Majora's Mask 3D and in modern Zelda games. NTCS and PAL region versions are fully supported, but all other region versions are technically supported as well. The texture pack fully supports English, Spanish and German. More languages are planned to be added in future versions. On Windows only, games can look extra good with Reshade, which includes many color grading changes and optional post processing effects. Please note that all post processing can be modified easily from user to user to fit your own preference, you can make it look however you like . If you have installed Reshade, press the "HOME" key on your keyboard while in-game to open the ReShade menu, where you can edit the post processing to your heart's content. Extra post prcessing can also be completely disabled in-game by pressing "F12" on your keyboard. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Some potential benefits over the N64 version: Better visuals (Higher resolution textures, higher quality models, better animations, depth of field, ambient occlusion, global illumination, tone mapping, post processing shaders, higher framerate and even ray tracing*) 60 & 120 fps support using Lossless Scaling Supports gyroscope and motion controls for aiming Boss Fight Replays Less pausing (iron boots as an item rather than equipment, for instance) More item slots Sheikah Guiding Stone for hints Water level icons in the water temple Master Quest is part of the game by default Very high stability (rare to crash or hang up) Save States Lots of great 3DS-exclusive mods Full 360 degree camera control using the right stick (using this mod ) Full support for Windows, MacOS (including Apple Silicon) and Linux (including Steamdeck) Android Support Full control over post processing and effects (colors, exposure, contrast, bloom etc) using Reshade Stereoscopic 3D support ...and the list goes on. How is the texture pack made? How is this possible? Lots of people have been asking how the textures and the texture pack is made, and how it works! So here's a (relatively) comprehensive explanation and showcase on how I make the 4K textures and how the workflow works! (If you're not interested feel free to just skip this section) I make the textures using a combination of methods. I usually rework the textures by hand in Photoshop by compositing native 4K textures together. It's almost like making a collage, in a way. Some textures are hand painted, such as most of the UI textures and some character textures. Then I do this over and over again for every texture, pretty much! Oftentimes I refer to concept art or official artwork to get closer to the "intended vision". The time it takes all depends on what kind of texture it is of course, some need more work than others, things like the UI and characters faces can take a very long time to get right. Important textures (and frequently used textures) are also usually prioritized since they're so obvious when you play the game! The textures can then be loaded through texture injection in an emulator to replace the default textures with new ones on-the-fly- no modding is required at all ! Here are some specific core areas which are currently especially important in regards to contributed work; UI icons and character portraits Posters and signs (in-game, that is) Minor texture tweaks (mistake or spelling corrections, for example) Hand painted textures (any category, as long as it stays relatively faithful to the original art style) High-quality, royalty free environment textures or material textures (PBR or otherwise) without watermarks. High quality 3D models or renders of characters, environments or items from the game. UI and text translations (Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese. Note: This requires substantial texture editing experience, and is not a simple text translation task ) Download (v3.0) Download (v3.0) (Mirror) Setup Guide + F.A.Q 3.0 Version Changelog

  • Zelda: Skyward Sword 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico

Hello! This is my HD texture pack page for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) This is a texture pack for the Switch version of Skyward Sword. The Wii version is no longer getting updates, but can still be downloaded and used for free here . The pack includes over 550 new 4K textures, which can be injected through the use of emulation into the game using an emulator. The pack does not cover all of the game's textures, but the vast majority of all important ones have been re-textured already. Some textures remain completely untouched until I've replaced them. The game is completely playable all the way through with these textures! This texture pack, at the moment, requires a specific fork of Ryujinx to be played (included with the pack) . It does not work on a real console or on other Switch emulators, or a regular installation of Ryujinx which doesn't include the features added by this fork. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution , which looks the best on 1440p displays or higher. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution, which is ideal for 1080p displays or lower (it still looks really good with either version). The 4K version will still look sharper than the 1080p version , even if you're not using a 4K display, since the textures are more detailed in the 4K version. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying mostly faithful to the original style and aesthethic*. That means my textures are meant to blend in with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change, whilst significantly increasing the visual fidelity and detail level. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in that case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). The Switch version of the texture pack is currently being actively updated and maintained. The Wii version of the pack is no longer receiving updates, but can still be downloaded for free if you want to use it. The pack supports all regions and languages available for the game. If you are having issues with stuttering and lag, try moving the texture pack to a faster hard drive, if possible. Preferably a M.2 SSD. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs and to chat with other fans of my projects! Is there a comparison with and without the texture pack somewhere? There sure is! There are screenshots down below with comparisons, as well as a trailer for the texture pack which also shows comparisons in motion. Video preview (Please watch in 2160p/60 FPS for the best experience!) Setup: If you're on Windows: There is minimal installation required ! A pre-configured version of the Ryujinx Emulator is bundled alongside the texture pack. Simply extract the folder somewhere and start Ryujinx using "Zelda Skyward Sword 4K (Ryujinx).exe", copy over your own keys file (no instructions are included on how to obtain these) into the texture pack folder > portable > system directory and t hen load your own legally obtained game rom of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD and play. FURTHERMORE: It is also HIGHLY recommended that you install Reshade (the " addon" version) for Vulkan, since it will allow for additional post processing effects and much nicer visuals which can be fully customized in-game. The Reshade installer + instructions comes included with the texture pack inside the folder calle d !INSTALL RESHADE HERE FOR IMPROVED VISUALS . If you're on Mac or Linux: Man ually download Ryujinx Avalonia for your operating system ( macOS download ) ( Linux download ) and follow the instructions. Add a folder where your game rom is located as a game directory in the Options > Settings > User Interface > Game Directories section, and make sure that your game appears in the games list in Ryujinx. Next, copy the "mods" folder from the texture pack's "portable" folder to your own Ryujinx mods folder (Inside of Ryujinx, right click the game in the games list > "Open Mods Directory" and then go back a few folders until you reach the "mods" folder). Select "overwrite" if it asks. Copy over your own legally obtained keys file (Ryujinx will instruct you on how to get this and where to put it). That's it, start the game and enjoy! For SteamDeck users the installation is a bit different. First you must download this special build of Ryujinx Avalonia with custom texture support from the manual Linux download here . The rest of the installation is the same as for Linux/MacOS, which you can find above. NO GAME ROM, GAME KEYS OR OTHER GAME ASSETS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS TEXTURE PACK. SHARING GAME ROMS IS PIRACY AND IS ILLEGAL. DO NOT ASK FOR THEM HERE OR ON DISCORD, OR YOU WILL BE MUTED WITHOUT WARNING. If you encounter any issues with the texture pack please post them on the Forums or on Discord ! Enjoy! Download (1.0) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Does this work on real Switch hardware? No, and it never will as described here . The only way to use HD textures is through the use of an emulator and texture injection, which this texture pack relies on. Changelog: 1.0.0 (2023-10-01): Initial release

The beautiful and faithful texture pack for Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D - in up to glorious 4K resolution! With full support for the incredible Project Restoration mod! Hello! This is the info page for my MM 3D 4K texture pack project! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) The pack currently includes several hundred remade textures. It covers most of the important textures in the game, although some minor locations remain untouched until I've had the time to make textures for them. The end goal is to remake every single texture from scratch! I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution, which is best suitable for 1080p displays or lower. There are no plans to port it to the N64 version. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of MM3D as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in that case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work) The texture pack is 100% compatible with the amazing Project Restoration mod by Leotlino and is highly recommended! Currently, only NTCS and PAL textures have been modified . You can still use this texture pack on Japanense / Korean versions of the game, it will still work. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Why would I play this over the N64 version? There are many reasons why you would want to play the 3DS version of MM with a HD Texture Pack over the old N64 version. Here are some I've listed out the top of my head; Better visuals (Higher resolution textures, higher quality models, depth of field, ambient occlusion, global illumination, tonemapping, post processing shaders, higher framerate* and even ray tracing in the future!) Works great with Project Restoration , which restores functionality from the N64 version and enhances the 3DS version of the game beyond the N64 version in many aspects. 60 & 120 fps support using Lossless Scaling Supports the orchestrated soundtrack from the MM Re-Orchestrated Project! Supports gyroscope and motion controls for aiming More item slots Fishing Hole Sheikah Guiding Stone for hints Various Q.O.L improvements, such as saving without quitting and earlier access to Song of Soaring Save States Lots of great 3DS-exclusive mods (if you're into that kind of stuff) Full 360 degree camera control using the right stick Full support for Windows, MacOS (including Apple Silicon) and Linux (including Steamdeck) Android Support Full customisation over post processing and effects (colors, exposure, tone mapping etc) Stereoscopic 3D support and the list goes on... Screenshots How is the texture pack made? How is this possible? Lots of people have been asking how the textures and the texture pack is made, and how it works! (If you're not interested feel free to just skip this section) I make the textures using a combination of methods. I usually rework the textures by hand in Photoshop by compositing native 4K textures with an upscaled texture as a reference , usually in the background so that colors can be matched from it to the high res images. It's almost like making a collage, in a way. Then I do this over and over again for every texture, pretty much! Oftentimes I refer to concept art or official artwork to get closer to the "intended vision".
