- Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico
Hello! This is the info page for my OoT3D 4K texture pack project! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) So far, several hundred of the most important textures have been completely re-textured from scratch! The end goal is to remake every single texture from scratch. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the base resolution, which is suitable for 4K displays. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the base resolution, which is best for 1080p displays. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying faithful to the original vision. That means my textures are meant to blend in as much as possible with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change. This texture pack is for Oot3D, which means the 3DS version only . There are no plans to port it to the N64 version currently for several reasons (see F.A.Q). The texture pack, as distributed, is provided *as is*. There is no emulator included with the texture pack . The appearance of several locations has been changed to better match the tone of the N64 version. This includes locations such as the Bottom of the Well, where the blood has been restored from the N64 version as well as the final battle, which is now much darker like in the original. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of OoT3D as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in which case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). It will work with the OoT3D Randomizer, for example It works with the Free Camera Control mod , which lets you control the camera in full 360 degrees freely just like in Majora's Mask 3D and in modern Zelda games. NTCS and PAL region versions are fully supported, but all other region versions are technically supported as well. The texture pack fully supports English, Spanish and German. More languages are planned to be added in future versions. On Windows only, games can look extra good with Reshade, which includes many color grading changes and optional post processing effects. Please note that all post processing can be modified easily from user to user to fit your own preference, you can make it look however you like . If you have installed Reshade, press the "HOME" key on your keyboard while in-game to open the ReShade menu, where you can edit the post processing to your heart's content. Extra post prcessing can also be completely disabled in-game by pressing "F12" on your keyboard. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Some potential benefits over the N64 version: Better visuals (Higher resolution textures, higher quality models, better animations, depth of field, ambient occlusion, global illumination, tone mapping, post processing shaders, higher framerate and even ray tracing*) 60 & 120 fps support using Lossless Scaling Supports gyroscope and motion controls for aiming Boss Fight Replays Less pausing (iron boots as an item rather than equipment, for instance) More item slots Sheikah Guiding Stone for hints Water level icons in the water temple Master Quest is part of the game by default Very high stability (rare to crash or hang up) Save States Lots of great 3DS-exclusive mods Full 360 degree camera control using the right stick (using this mod ) Full support for Windows, MacOS (including Apple Silicon) and Linux (including Steamdeck) Android Support Full control over post processing and effects (colors, exposure, contrast, bloom etc) using Reshade Stereoscopic 3D support ...and the list goes on. How is the texture pack made? How is this possible? Lots of people have been asking how the textures and the texture pack is made, and how it works! So here's a (relatively) comprehensive explanation and showcase on how I make the 4K textures and how the workflow works! (If you're not interested feel free to just skip this section) I make the textures using a combination of methods. I usually rework the textures by hand in Photoshop by compositing native 4K textures together. It's almost like making a collage, in a way. Some textures are hand painted, such as most of the UI textures and some character textures. Then I do this over and over again for every texture, pretty much! Oftentimes I refer to concept art or official artwork to get closer to the "intended vision". The time it takes all depends on what kind of texture it is of course, some need more work than others, things like the UI and characters faces can take a very long time to get right. Important textures (and frequently used textures) are also usually prioritized since they're so obvious when you play the game! The textures can then be loaded through texture injection in an emulator to replace the default textures with new ones on-the-fly- no modding is required at all ! Want to help contribute to these projects? If so, thank you! Myself and lots of people would greatly appreciate your help making these projects shine even brighter. All contributed work will of course be credited, however not all submited textures might be included in the texture pack if they're not deemed a suitable fit for any reason. The most important thing is that textures are faithful to the original art style, and that they contain no copyrighted or otherwise illegal content before being distributed. Here are some specific core areas which are currently especially important in regards to contributed work; UI icons and character portraits Posters and signs (in-game, that is) Minor texture tweaks (mistake or spelling corrections, for example) Hand painted textures (any category, as long as it stays relatively faithful to the original art style) High-quality, royalty free environment textures or material textures (PBR or otherwise) without watermarks. High quality 3D models or renders of characters, environments or items from the game. UI and text translations (Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese. Note: This requires substantial texture editing experience, and is not a simple text translation task ) Download (v3.0) Download (v3.0) (Mirror) Setup Guide + F.A.Q 3.0 Version Changelog
- Zelda: Skyward Sword 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico
Hello! This is my HD texture pack page for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) This is a texture pack for the Switch version of Skyward Sword. The Wii version is no longer getting updates, but can still be downloaded and used for free here . The pack includes over 550 new 4K textures, which can be injected through the use of emulation into the game using an emulator. The pack does not cover all of the game's textures, but the vast majority of all important ones have been re-textured already. Some textures remain completely untouched until I've replaced them. The game is completely playable all the way through with these textures! This texture pack, at the moment, requires a specific fork of Ryujinx to be played (included with the pack) . It does not work on a real console or on other Switch emulators, or a regular installation of Ryujinx which doesn't include the features added by this fork. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution , which looks the best on 1440p displays or higher. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution, which is ideal for 1080p displays or lower (it still looks really good with either version). The 4K version will still look sharper than the 1080p version , even if you're not using a 4K display, since the textures are more detailed in the 4K version. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying mostly faithful to the original style and aesthethic*. That means my textures are meant to blend in with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change, whilst significantly increasing the visual fidelity and detail level. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in that case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). The Switch version of the texture pack is currently being actively updated and maintained. The Wii version of the pack is no longer receiving updates, but can still be downloaded for free if you want to use it. The pack supports all regions and languages available for the game. If you are having issues with stuttering and lag, try moving the texture pack to a faster hard drive, if possible. Preferably a M.2 SSD. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs and to chat with other fans of my projects! Is there a comparison with and without the texture pack somewhere? There sure is! There are screenshots down below with comparisons, as well as a trailer for the texture pack which also shows comparisons in motion. Video preview (Please watch in 2160p/60 FPS for the best experience!) Setup: If you're on Windows: There is minimal installation required ! A pre-configured version of the Ryujinx Emulator is bundled alongside the texture pack. Simply extract the folder somewhere and start Ryujinx using "Zelda Skyward Sword 4K (Ryujinx).exe", copy over your own keys file (no instructions are included on how to obtain these) into the texture pack folder > portable > system directory and t hen load your own legally obtained game rom of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD and play. FURTHERMORE: It is also HIGHLY recommended that you install Reshade (the " addon" version) for Vulkan, since it will allow for additional post processing effects and much nicer visuals which can be fully customized in-game. The Reshade installer + instructions comes included with the texture pack inside the folder calle d !INSTALL RESHADE HERE FOR IMPROVED VISUALS . If you're on Mac or Linux: Man ually download the Ryujinx custom textures fork for your operating system and follow the instructions. Add a folder where your game rom is located as a game directory in the Options > Settings > User Interface > Game Directories section, and make sure that your game appears in the games list in Ryujinx. Next, copy the "mods" folder from the texture pack's "portable" folder to your own Ryujinx mods folder (Inside of Ryujinx, right click the game in the games list > "Open Mods Directory" and then go back a few folders until you reach the "mods" folder). Select "overwrite" if it asks. Copy over your own legally obtained keys file (Ryujinx will instruct you on how to get this and where to put it). That's it, start the game and enjoy! For SteamDeck users the installation is a bit different. First you must download this special build of Ryujinx with custom texture support from the manual Linux download here . The rest of the installation is the same as for Linux/MacOS, which you can find above. NO GAME ROM, GAME KEYS OR OTHER GAME ASSETS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS TEXTURE PACK. SHARING GAME ROMS IS PIRACY AND IS ILLEGAL. DO NOT ASK FOR THEM HERE OR ON DISCORD, OR YOU WILL BE MUTED WITHOUT WARNING. If you encounter any issues with the texture pack please post them on the Forums or on Discord ! Enjoy! Download (1.0) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Does this work on real Switch hardware? No, and it never will as described here . The only way to use HD textures is through the use of an emulator and texture injection, which this texture pack relies on. Changelog: 1.0.0 (2023-10-01): Initial release

- Henriko's Amazing Mod List for Skyrim SE | Henriko Magnifico
I came up with this mod list that is "nearly perfect" - at least in terms of graphics, performance and compatibility. Make your Skyrim look the best it can without sacrificing your FPS or stability! Henriko's Amazing Mod List Henriko's Amazing Mod List for Skyrim Special Edition [2020] Check out and endorse the post on Nexus Mods! Update 2020-06-21: I’m currently working on a completely revamped version of this mod list. It’s not quite ready yet but I’ll share more information on my Discord and on Nexus once it is. Cheers! I got into Skyrim modding a while back and after a long time of testing different mods, seeing which ones work the best with other mods and how they affect performance and looks, I came up with this list that is "nearly perfect" - at least in terms of graphics and compatibility. I run at a mostly stable 45-50 FPS outdoors, with the SkyrimSE Re-Engaged ENB on 'good' quality preset and built in settings set to 'Ultra' and the highest possible on 2560x1440 resolution, and stable 60 FPS indoors. I have a GTX 970 4Gb and an Intel Core i7-4790K, so not really the most powerful gaming PC anymore. My friend tried this same list with his rig and got 60 FPS nearly everywhere outdoors as well, but he has a GTX 1060 6Gb and an AMD Ryzen 2500X. Either way, it's definitely playable for most people. These mods are added to work with each other and not create incompatibilities with others, and I have yet to find any major incompatibilities in any of my playthroughs with these mods installed. Feel free to install / not install any of these mods as you like. Still, I recommend starting the game and playing for a bit after every 10-20 mods installed or so just to make sure everything is working as intended. And one last thing, I also recommend that you use either Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer 2 . My experience with Vortex has been… troubled, to say the least (Load orders messing everything up hurts my soul). Anyways, enjoy! Want to support me? It’s very easy to install, just make sure you get the latest version.) Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM - Select “Everything”. High Poly Project - I like the stone walls but they will be overwritten, sadly. If you want them, install this later (after you’ve selected lighting mod). Open Cities Skyrim (Optional! This can cause serious problems with A.I mods or Skyrim Together. Don’t install this if you plan on using Skyrim Together or mods that are incompatible with Open Cities. Install Open Cities Patches later in the list if you decide to install this.) True Storms Special Edition SkyUI (Requires SKSE64 to be installed in the game’s main directory. It’s a compilation of various other grass mods. The grass is taller than on other mods, so it might drown out some meshes unless you use landscape fixes for grass mods (later in the list). Visual Animated Enchants Beautiful Boats Of Skyrim Realistic Aspen Trees SE - Flora Overhaul LOD unless you’re using a LOD generator There are five good ways to go regarding lighting, in my opinion. Only install either A, B, C, D or E. I prefer to use B. A. Better in some places, especially shadows. More customization. Relighting Skyrim SSE (For accurate light sources) Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) SSE (Interiors) CLARALUX SSE (Exteriors) CLARALUX SSE Support Patches (In the installer > Select patches for all mods installed so far.) B. Good lighting practically everywhere, however shadows are not always visible around light sources, flickering may occur and there is a bigger hit on performance than alternative A. Make sure to remove “fake lights” around braziers and lanterns or it may look strange. Enhanced Lights and FX (All-around. Can be configured in installer. Install the options “Enhanced Lights and FX” and “ELFX - Exteriors”. Enhancer will make things very, very dark so beware!) C. No longer updated but looks good. Close to no performance loss. Some light flickering. Realistic Lighting Overhaul D. Lightweight with high compatibility. Very playable brightness levels compared to the other alternatives. Relighting Skyrim SSE (For accurate light sources) Luminosity Lighting Overhaul SSE E. No lighting mod at all! This ensures the highest compatibility of all options available, however it will result in normal Skyrim SE lighting which doesn’t look as realistic. Smoking Torches and Candles (Do not install if you use lighting solution B.) ELFX SMIM FPS Patch (Only install if you went for lighting solution B.) Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul SE + Patches for Open Cities and Enhanced Lighting for ENB if you are using lighting solution A. Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul SE Mix-n-Match Plugin USSEP Version + Patches for the other installed mods (Alternate Start, Cutting Room Floor and Immersive Citizens) RS Children Overhaul Compendium Fomod Installer (In the installer make sure to select Cutting Room Floor, Helgen Reborn and Solitude Expansion patches) Blended Roads - “Really Blended” + “Really Blended SMIM” Landscape Fixes For Grass Mods + Alternate Start LAL Patch + Cutting Room Floor Patch + Immersive Citizens Patch + Helgen Reborn Patch + Jk’s Towns Patch Terrain LOD Redone Realistic HD Mushrooms Remastered High Quality Food and Ingredients Main Menu Spinning Skyrim Emblem SOVNGARDE Book Covers Skyrim SE - Desaturated Illuminated Atronachs Cinematic Fire Effects 2 HD SSE Embers HD (Fireplaces Add-On) SSE Fixes Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants Every Tree 3D Different HD Photorealistic Ivy Animated Clutter SSE Dust Effects Remove Invisible Barriers W.E.B.S SE W.E.B.S SE Lighting Mod Patch Realistic Water Two Beautiful Water Replacement Overhaul JK’s Skyrim Realistic Water Two Patch JK’s Skyrim 3D Trees Patch Immersive Weapons Patches Fluffy Snow - 2K + Blended Roads Patch + Majestic Mountains Patch + 3D Trees Patch (REQUIRES MAJESTIC MOUNTAINS!) Blowing in the Wind Make sure to select Skyrim Special Edition in the installer + Lanterns of Skyrim Patch, The JK’s Patch, Helgen Reborn Patch, SMIM Merged All Patch (Should automatically be selected in the installer) Volcanic Tundra - Heat Wave Effects HQ Tree Bark Vivid Weathers True Storms Compatibility Patch If you installed Vivid Weathers Obsidian Weathers True Storms Compatibility Patch If you installed Obsidian Weathers ELFX Fixes (If you installed ELFX earlier) Running LOOT : I highly recommend running the program LOOT , which automatically sets the load order of all your mods. It’s super easy to use with just the click of a button and it’s completely free. Skyrim Launcher: Set everything to your liking. If you are encountering issues with snow, try disabling “Snow Shaders”. Optional: Hide SkyUI - In case you want to play without SkyUI, as SkyUI is still a requirement for some mods in this list. JK’s Skyrim No Lights Patch - If you are having issues with lighting being emitted from strange places in towns and cities. Skyrim Is Windy - If you want the vegetation and other objects to sway in the wind. Animation mods are very subjective and situational so I’ll leave that up to you! Lastly, I usually install an ENB that I think looks good. Most likely the SkyrimSE Re-Engaged ENB , Intrigued ENB (only for obsidian weathers) or Rudy ENB . Enjoy! If you have any questions or issues, feel free to contact me on Discord or here on the website forums :) -Henriko

- Zelda: Skyward Sword 4K Texture Pack (Wii Edition) | Henriko Magnifico
Hello! This is the info page for my SS 4K texture pack project! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) In it's current state, the texture pack includes several hundred HD textures, remade from the ground up. They cover most areas of the game, but some locations such as some interiors or dungeons are not yet covered. The game is completely playable all the way through with these textures! I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions. You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution. The 4K version will still look better than the 1080p version , even if you're not using a 4K display, because the textures simply contain more detail. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals whilst staying faithful to the original vision. That means my textures are meant to blend in as much as possible with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change. This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of Zelda: Skyward Sword as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in that case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). Ishiiruka-Dolphin is required to make material maps, shaders and other nice visual features work. There is a custom fork of Ishiiruka Dolphin inside the texture pack download which you can use, or alternatively download the latest version of Ishiiruka-Dolphin . If you want to play without a real Wiiremote + Nunchuck, you need to use regular Dolphin (use the latest Development Build) . There is no 60 FPS patch available as of yet. You can however play the game using a tool such as Lossless Upscaling to achieve an interpolated 60 fps, at the cost of some input delay and artifacting. Currently, only NTCS textures have been modified . You can still use this texture pack on European / Japanense / Korean versions of the game in Dolphin, it will still work. This will not include the PAL/Jap/Kor region specific textures though. If you are having issues with stuttering and lag, remember to check "Prefetch Custom Textures" in the 'Advanced' tab of the Graphics settings before asking for help. I also recommend enabling V-Sync as it removes screen tearing in full screen mode. This project is in no way affiliated with the Zelda: Skyward Sword Remastered texture Pack project! Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Why would I play with this over the original Wii / Switch HD versions? There are many reasons why you would want to play the game with a HD texture pack over playing it on a real Wii / Wii U or even the Switch HD version. Here are some I've listed out the top of my head; Better visuals (Higher resolution textures, material mapping, rim lighting, depth of field, ambient occlusion, global illumination, customizable tonemapping, custom post processing shaders and even ray tracing!) Fully customizable controls Supports ANY controller, including Joy-Con, Switch Pro Controller, Xbox and PS4/PS5. Less blur / remove it completely if you like Superior mods and modding tools Free Cam ("Fly anywhere you want with the camera". Great for cinematics) Supports a plethora of cheats and patches Stereoscopic 3D support VR Potential Supports emulated Wii-controls (You can play the game using a normal controller, no need for a Wiimote & Nunchuck unless you want to!) Video preview (Please watch in 2160p, 60 FPS for the best experience!) Installation: If you're on Windows: There is minimal installation! A special preconfigured version of Dolphin called Ishiiruka Dolphin is provided alongside the texture pack. Simply extract the folder somewhere and start Dolphin using "Zelda SS 4K (Edition Version).exe", then open up your own game rom of Zelda: Skyward Sword and play. If you're on Mac or Linux: please manually download Dolphin from this page for your operating system and copy all of the contents of the texture pack's "user" folder (not the folder itself, but everything inside it) to your Dolphin directory (on macOS, your Dolphin Directory is inside of ~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin ) . Next make sure to enable "Use Custom Textures" in the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab, or else the custom textures won't load! And finally, you also need the game rom to start the game, which isn't included for legal reasons. Information on how to dump your own game rom legally can be found here. For SteamDeck users the installation is a bit different. First you must download Dolphin, this can easily be done through the use of a program like Emudeck or through Flatpak . If you installed Dolphin through Emudeck, your Dolphin directory will be located inside of /home/deck/.var/app/org.DolphinEmu.dolphin-emu/config/dolphin-emu/ . You must right click inside the Dolphin directory > Menu > Check the box for "Show Hidden Files" or else you may not be able to access the Dolphin folder. The rest of the installation is the same as for Linux/MacOS, which you can find above. For Android users, the process is also a bit different. First download the latest Dolphin Emulator from the Google Play Store , or download the latest "Development Version" APK directly from here , install it on your device and try running your game rom in it to make sure everything is working before installing the texture pack itself. Next, download the 1080p version of the texture pack on your device (the 4K version might not work on some android devices) and extract it using any .zip unarchival app (some android versions have this feature built in, whilst some require a third party app to unzip .zip files). Once that is done, open the texture pack folder and navigate to the user > load > textures folder. Next, copy the folder called " GZ2 " to this location on your device; Internal Storage/dolphin-emu/load/textures Now finally, enable the "Load Custom Textures" option inside the Dolphin Graphics Settings > Advanced tab. Then set the "Internal Resolution " in the Graphics Settings to a higher value than the default 1x (start with 2x and increase from there, if it starts to lag lower the internal resolution again ). Then start the game. It should say a disclaimer about the texture pack before the game starts, that's how you know it's working. Enjoy! For iOS users, the process is very similar to that of Android. However install Dolphin is a bit trickier and will require that you use DolphiniOS , which has it's own installation instructions provided here . NO GAME ROM OR GAME FILES ARE INCLUDE D WITH THIS TEXTURE PACK. SHARING GAME ROMS IS PIRACY AND IS ILLEGAL. DO NOT ASK FOR THEM HERE OR ON DISCORD, OR YOU WILL BE MUTED. If you encounter any issues with the texture pack please post them on the Forums or on Discord ! Enjoy! Download it from here Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Why is the game crashing / displaying "Fifo Error: Shutting Down" The reason why is most likely because you don't have the latest C++ Redist from Microsoft installed . This is required on most Windows setups or else the game won't boot. You can download it for free from Microsoft's website here. If it's still crashing after you've installed C++ Redist, it might be because you're using an WBFS, WFS or .NKIT ISO. You need a regular ISO version to play the game without any errors- NKIT is NOT supported. You can convert your NKIT to a regular ISO easily using the free NKIT to ISO converter. It's night time in Skyloft from the beginning / the image is flickering constantly! This is the result of an incompatible Depth of Field removal / Art Impressionist Reducer code being active for your particular revision & region of the game. To fix it , simply replace the "Art Impressionist Reducer" code with the correct one in the game properties (right click the game in the games list > properties > AR Codes / Gecko Codes tabs ) for your specific revision and region version of the game. You find your revision and region of the game in the game properties > info tab. See the list here: PAL ONLY (European version): Art Style Intensity Modifier for Revision 0 [Anarion] 04593564 00000000 Art Style Intensity Modifier for Revision 1 [Anarion] 0457ba98 00000000 NTSC ONLY (American version): Background Blur Removal for Revision 0, possibly Revision 1 [Anarion] 0257a350 00000000 Background Blur Removal for Revision 2 [Anarion] 0257aa30 00000000 How do I pull the sword from the altar in the beginning? The sword part in the beginning can be a bit tricky. What you need to do is to is hold A+ZR (or R2, depending on the controller you have), and then pull the right stick down and then up again slowly. Can I customize the visuals any more? If you're using the post-processing version which uses Ishiiruka Dolphin, yes absolutely! Go to the Graphics settings in Dolphin > Post-Processing tab and click "Options". Then customize the selected shader to your heart's content! How do I get it to work on mobile? It's easy! Simply download the Android / iOS version of the pack and then extract the included "User" folder to your primary Dolphin directory. You can find Dolphin for Android on the Google Play Store for free, and Dolphin for iOS is available through the service DolphiniOS (An iPhone 11 or later, iPhone SE Gen 2 or iPad Air/Pro 2020 or beyond is recommended for optimal performance!) Changelog: 1.0.5 (2021-08-01): Full Dualshock / Dualsense support (including gyro controls) Background Blur Removal now works on ALL western versions of the game! New textures in Lanayru desert and Skyloft Bug fixes and other minor improvements 1.0.4 (2021-06-01): Updated Link's face so that he doesn't look as sleep deprived as before (bags under his eyes) Fixed Link's gross finger nails, they now look normal! Link's gloves are now in HD. New textures for shields and shield icons Fixed an issue where Gaepora's eyes would display completely black Fixed a freezing issue that would occur before the final fight with Ghirahim (does not fix in saves already affected, unfortunately this fix will only affect new save games made using this version and beyond) Fixed a crash that could occur when soaring down to the overworld for the first time if you were using the Vulkan API Fixed an issue where the textures wouldn't display if you used Revision 0 of the PAL version of the game. Fixed an issue where the the simulated motion controls wouldn't work for Dualsense controllers (PS5 controllers) Some textures were missing from the Standard Edition of the pack that existed in the Post Processing version, they are now included in the Standard Edition as well! Fixed an issue where cleaning the house of one of the NPCs wasn't possible so you got stuck in the house and couldn't get out (soft lock). 1.0.3 (2021-03-02): Much, much improved controls. I present the Ultimate Gamepad Preset 5.0! Completely remade from scratch. It feels awesome! (Use the right stick to move up or down, or to fly faster to either direction. Use the right trigger to flap your wings (to gain height) and lastly use A to boost. That's it! No much fiddeling with both sticks at the same time. No more crossing your fingers to hit three buttons on different sides of the controller at the same time) Flying is no longer a pain! Combat controls have been overhauled as well. Simply move the right stick to move Link's sword to that direction, and then press RB (right backside button) to slash your sword! Jump and spin attack are now easy to do with a regular controller (Just press down the left stick until it clicks!) Improved controls for Joy-con, Dualshock/Dualsense and Switch Pro Controllers with gyro support! Flying and aiming has never been easier. 1.0.2 (2021-01-14): Improved gamepad controls! - Super Mario Sunshine 4K Texture Pack | Henriko Magnifico
The best 4K texture pack for Super Mario Sunshine, with 60 FPS and true widescreen support! Hi! Welcome to my HD texture pack information page for Super Mario Sunshine! Some general info regarding this texture project which you should read before you download it: (The download link is at the bottom of this page!) So far this project includes several hundred custom 4K textures made from scratch, covering most parts of the game. I am completely up for suggestions, changes and submissions . You will of course be fully credited for any work you submit. The 4K version of the texture pack is scaled to 8x the default resolution , this means that (if internal resolution is increased in Dolphin) you may be able to view some textures at a staggering 6832x3480 resolution! Taking into account that you are using the provided widescreen hack of course. The 1080p version is scaled to 4x the default resolution, which still results to slightly above 1080p. My goal with this texture pack is to enhance the original game visuals while staying faithful to the original vision. That means my textures are meant to blend in as much as possible with the old textures so the game feel doesn't change (with some exceptions, feedback is appreciated ). This texture pack is made for Ishiiruka Dolphin and includes shader presets to provide nice graphical features like Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (self shadowing around meshes), Bloom, Depth of Field, Tone Mapping and much more. And you can tweak it to make the game look however you like! This texture pack will work with any custom mods / hacks of Super Mario Sunshine as long as they aren't adding new textures or changing old ones (in that case, conflicting textures will be overwritten by one another but it will still work). It has full support for the Sunburn mod . There is a 60 FPS patch provided with the texture pack, and it works without any major issues on the NTSC (North American) version of the game. The European version also has a 60 FPS patch, but might cause some glitches (most notably laggy cutscenes). Therefore, the 60 FPS patch is only enabled by default on the NTSC version of the game. The Japanese version has no codes enabled at all by default and is not recommended. You can also achieve 60 & 120 fps using Lossless Scaling, which will work on any version without any patches necessary. Currently, only NTCS and PAL textures have been modified . You can still use this texture pack on Japanense / Korean versions of the game in Dolphin, it will still work. This will not include the Jap/Kor region specific textures though. If you don't like the way my texture pack looks over the All-Stars Switch version, please note that all post processing can be modified easily from user to user to fit your own preference, you can make it look however you like. There are also many benefits to playing the original GameCube version with a HD texture pack over the Switch version (see below). If you are having issues with stuttering and lag, remember to check "Prefetch Custom Textures" in the 'Advanced' tab of the Graphics settings before asking for help. I also recommend enabling V-Sync as it removes screen tearing in full screen mode. Feel free to join my Discord server for updates on all my texture packs! Why would I play this over the Switch / Super Mario 3D All Stars version? There are many reasons why you would want to play the GameCube version of Super Mario Sunshine with a HD Texture Pack over the All Stars version. Here are some I've listed out the top of my head; Better visuals (Higher resolution textures, material maps, rim lighting, depth of field, ambient occlusion, global illumination, tonemapping, post processing shaders and more!) Android & iOS Support (including SteamDeck, Nvidia Shield, AYA Neo etc.) 60 FPS Ultra Widescreen Support (21:9 or even higher) Superior mods and modding tools (Sunburn, Eclipse etc.) Free Cam Supports a plethora of cheats and patches Stereoscopic 3D support VR Potential Supports nearly all gamepads. Including PS4/5, Xbox One, GameCube, Joy-Con or the Switch Pro Controller. 1/16 Setup instructions: Windows: 1. Download and install the latest version of Dolphin . Or if you want added graphics features such as shaders and customizable tone mapping, download the latest version of the Ishiiruka Dolphin . 2. Start Dolphin at least once to make the necessary folders generate. 3. Copy the folders (Config, GameSettings, Load & Shaders ) from the texture pack .zip into your Dolphin Emulator folder, located inside of C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Dolphin Emulator . In older versions of Dolphin, such as Ishiiruka Dolphin, this folder can sometimes be found inside of your Documents directory in C:\Users\ YOURUSERNAMEHERE \Documents\ Dolphin Emulator instead. Replace "YOURUSERNAMEHERE" with your own Windows username. 4. Inside of Dolphin, check that "Load Custom Textures" is enabled in the Graphics Settings > Advanced tab. 5. Check that Internal Resolution is set to your desired resolution in the Graphics Settings. 6. Load your own game rom in Dolphin (not included). Information on how to dump your own game rom legally can be found here. MacOS: 1. Follow the same instructions as those for Windows, except that your "Dolphin Emulator" diretory is called just "Dolphin" on MacOS, and is located inside of /Library/Application Support/ You can use the "Go to folder" option in the taskbar of Finder to navigate to this exact directory using the following address: ~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin SteamDeck: 1. Follow the same instructions as those for Windows, except that your "Dolphin Emulator" diretory is called just "dolphin-emu" on Linux, and is located inside of /home/deck/.var/app/org.DolphinEmu.dolphin-emu/data/ Android: 1. Follow the same instructions as those for Windows, except that your "Dolphin Emulator" diretory is called just "dolphin-emu" on Android, and is located inside of Internal Storage on your device. Use a file manager of your choice to navigate to this location and extact the files there. iOS: The process is very similar to that of Android. However install Dolphin is a bit trickier and will require that you use DolphiniOS , which has it's own installation instructions provided here . NO GAME ROM OR GAME FILES ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS TEXTURE PACK. SHARING GAME ROMS IS PIRACY AND IS ILLEGAL. DO NOT ASK FOR THEM HERE OR ON DISCORD. How do I get the game rom? No game files are distributed with this texture pack, since that would be illegal. You need to get the game .iso yourself. The legal way is to dump the game yourself from your own GameCube or Wii console. See these instructions! If you encounter any issues with the texture pack please post them on the Forums or on Discord ! Enjoy! Download v2.0c Download Switch Buttons Controller Layout Patch ( Optional ) Want to help contribute to these projects? Note: This requires substantial texture editing experience, and is not a simple text translation task ) Changelog: 1.0.1 (2020-09-27): Eyes of various NPCs are now in 4K Fixed the issue where some NPCs eyes would look bugged when they blinked (for example Mario or Peach) Fixed a bug where the goop would disappear after playing for an extended period of time. Removed the heat wave effect by default, everything is much clearer now! The heat wave effect can easily be enabled again inside the "Cheats" menu, which you can access by right clicking Super Mario Sunshine in the game list and then go to "Properties". Updated the shine gate texture to make it pearly white again. Updated shaders and tone mapping. Added shaders and tone mapping to the European (PAL) version. Added global illumination (experimental) Updated some HUD elements, including the coin icon, to match more of those in the original. Updated some terrain textures to be more faithful to the original textures. Updated gaussian amalflare- clear white things are now brighter in the sunlight and produce a neat reflection effect. Optimized textures for improved performance and reduced file size (compressed using BC7 DDS by default, a PNG version will be available as well for Android users). 1.0.0 (2020-09-17): Initial release
